PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The HP EliteBook x360 1040 G8 is a premium 14-inch convertible business laptop with a slim aluminium chassis and 360-degree hinge, allowing it to be used as a conventional laptop, tablet, tent or media device. The x360 1040 G8 is well suited to everyday productivity, study, home use, web browsing, video meetings and creative applications. Its integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics can also handle lighter graphics workloads, although dedicated gaming performance has not been verified.

MICROSOFT COPILOT AND AI FEATURES

The Intel Core i7-1185G7 is an 11th Generation processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics and Intel's integrated AI-related technologies, but this laptop should not be advertised as a Copilot+ PC based on the supplied hardware.

Microsoft states that features such as Recall require a Copilot+ PC with a 40+ TOPS NPU, alongside other requirements. The i7-1185G7 does not meet that Copilot+ hardware classification.

Accordingly, claims that this machine is capable of Windows Recall, Auto Super Resolution or the full range of Copilot+ AI features should not be published unless the specific feature has been independently confirmed on the exact machine. Auto Super Resolution, for example, has specific Copilot+ hardware requirements.
